3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Kinections. LivingDance~LivingMusic: Bringing all of U into the Creative Process
LivingDance~LivingMusic LivingDance provides opportunities for expression and connection that foster awareness and imagination by using natural movements to which we all have access. Through kinesthetic sensing and improvisation, participants learn how to use their breath, muscles, and music to counter the resistance, and even ongoing blocks, that sabotage creative processes. In our last LivingDance~LivingMusic workshop, an Israeli actor and director who writes poetry in Hebrew discovered that she could write poetry in English that was equally satisfying both to her and to her audience.

Kinections provides both clinical and educational services. Clinical services include dance/movement therapy and mental health counseling. Educational services include a program that leads to credentialing as a dance/movement t therapist, continuing education for Nationally Certified Counselors, and a new program to educate and then certify facilitators of LivingDance~LivingMusic. LivingDance~LivingMusic is a unique combination of the clinical and the educational. Kinections Studio, 718 University Avenue, Rochester.

Green will offer examples of what he is talking about and present techniques to get there.
